Missions Committee: Flowers for Shut-Ins
We are inviting any children and their parents to come and decorate flowerpots to be given to those in our congregation who are home-bound. Once we have decorated the pots we will plant a flower in them and then choose another Saturday to take them to the homes of those that can’t come to church. The date is March 11th, 10:30am. We will decorate and plant and then have pizza for lunch with a time of fellowship. The Mission’s Committee will be there to assist and we will gladly welcome any parents to help with the decorating and planting. We’re looking forward to having a good turnout. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex outside the sanctuary so we can get a good number of who is coming, and get the right number of pots, supplies and pizza.
